The Lifan Chimp is the ideal learners' trail bike suitable for those just getting into the sport at around 11 - 14 years of age.

The Lifan Chimp takes the hard work out of learning about clutch operation. The Clutch is mild enough not to wheel stand and throw the rider if the clutch is released clumsily, but forgiving enough to pull away in most instances, even if the engine revolutions are low. The Chimp kick starts easily and a gear indicator helps the rider remember which gear they are in while riding, and together with mono rear shock suspension and bendy plastics it makes the Lifan Chimp the complete package. As the chimp is so affordable, it allows parents to invest a minimum amount to see where their child wants to go from there.
